Kathryn Kleinman founded her studio in San Francisco in 1980,
skillfully establishing herself as a visionary in the world of
food and floral photography. Over the past two decades she has
complimented her extensive advertising work with personal creative
projects, successfully publishing over eighteen books featuring her
photography, including the critically acclaimed and award-winning
titles Salad, On Flowers and Aperitif.
A strong believer in the importance of a good creative team, Kathryn
fosters a dialogue between the client, art director and herself.
Her considerable experience and production skills allow her to maintain
a high standard of excellence in all of her assignments, whatever their
size, constraints, or complexity.
Moving her studio to Marin County, just 30 minutes north of San Francisco,
has allowed her to expand her working environment, combining a flexible interior
studio with an extensive garden and outdoor shooting area.
